Michael Lamping
Michael Lamping is retired and lives in the area about which
he writes. He has made his home in Idaho, on the Camas Prairie, where he can see the
Bitterroots of Montana from his front porch. Many homes in
the area have been abandoned by the grain growers and stand as
silent witnesses, amidst the fields of grain, to a time when
people lived, struggled, and died. Michael is married,
plays and writes music, and enjoys gardening. Being
retired has given him more time for mischief, such as turning a
perfectly charming land into a place of haunts and horrors.
Michael's mom was a Mystic and Michael witnessed many
wonderful and weird things: some of these things have helped him
and his imagination write this book.
Michael lived through the late sixties in Southern California
and still has the long hair to prove it.
Michael did a tour in the Army and spent a year in Germany
where fairie rings made of stones still circle sacred spots.
